Understanding AI/Automation Credits
CaptainBook’s AI features, starting with the AI Assistant, run on a system of AI credits. CaptainBook workflows also consume credits. Here's how they work:
🎁 Monthly Free Credits
Depending on your plan, you receive free AI credits every month:
The higher your plan, the more credits you get.
These credits renew every month, but only if you're actively using them.
If you're not using AI/Automation features, free credits will not be renewed in the next cycle.
⚙️ How Credits Are Used
Credits are consumed each time a visitor interacts with your AI Assistant, each time a node is run in a workflow, or each time you interact with an AI feature.
When credits run out:
The Assistant will be hidden from your website.
Visitors won't be able to interact with it until credits are restored.
Workflows will stop running
AI Functionalities will stop working
💳 Buying More Credits
You can purchase additional credits at any time.
There’s no limit to how many you can buy.
🔄 Enable Auto-Recharge
To avoid your AI/Automations going offline:
Turn on the auto-recharge feature.
Set a threshold (e.g., when credits fall below 500).
Choose how many credits you want us to automatically top up (e.g 1000 credits).
We’ll charge your card and keep your AI running smoothly.
🧠 Why It Matters
Running out of credits means your AI Assistant disappears, and so does the chance to convert more visitors.
Your workflows will stop running meaning that your automations will stop saving you time.
