This guide will assist you in utilizing the Google Tag Manager (GTM) debugger to monitor events triggered by CaptainBook widgets.

Occasionally, while debugging your website, you might encounter a warning in your debugger that looks like the following:

This warning appears because GTM cannot track events from CaptainBook since it hasn't been given permission to do so. To activate event tracking, navigate to Preview > Enter your site. This action will open your site in a new browser tab.

You'll capture the first event upon landing on your site. Proceed by clicking on your booking button to launch your widget.

Next, switch back to the GTM debugger tab without closing your website tab. The previously mentioned yellow warning should now be visible. Simply click on enable to proceed.

That's it! You are all set up, and no further actions are required for your events to start registering in GTM.
