To get started, log into your CaptainBook dashboard. Once logged in, look to the menu bar on the left side of your screen and click on the Notifications tab. This is where you can manage all your scheduled notifications.

Managing Notifications

In the Notifications tab, you have several options for managing your notifications:

  • Create a Notification: You can set up new scheduled notifications to be sent to your customers, team, or resources. These notifications help keep everyone informed and up-to-date.

  • Edit a Notification: Click on any existing notification to modify its content or settings. This is useful if you need to update the information or change the schedule.

  • Pause a Notification: If you want to temporarily stop a notification from being sent, you can pause it without deleting it entirely. This gives you flexibility in managing your communication.

  • Delete a Notification: If a notification is no longer needed, you can delete it from the list. This keeps your Notifications tab organized and ensures only relevant communications are sent.

Types of Notifications

Notifications can be customized to be sent via different channels to suit your needs:

  • Email: Send detailed messages directly to the recipient's inbox.

  • SMS: Use text messages for quick and direct communication, especially useful for urgent or time-sensitive information.

  • Push Notifications: Send instant alerts through mobile devices to keep customers and team members engaged and informed.

Thank you for joining us in this brief presentation of the Notifications Tab! By effectively using this feature, you can ensure smooth communication with your customers, team, and resources.
