This guide walks you through configuring the ticket type and redemption method for an experience.
After setup, each booking issues tickets in the format you choose and your team knows how to validate them at the meeting point.
Step 1: Open the Experiences list
From the left sidebar, click Experiences to see all of your products.
Step 2: Open the experience you want to configure
Click the experience name in the list to open its edit page.
Step 3: Scroll to the Ticketing section
Scroll past Basic details, pricing, and Photos to reach Ticketing β How do you want to manage your tickets/vouchers.
Step 4: Choose a ticket type
Open the Ticket type dropdown and pick the option that matches how you issue tickets.
One ticket per booking
A single ticket or voucher is issued for the entire reservation. Use this when the whole group is checked in together.
One ticket per guest in the booking
Each guest in the booking receives their own individual ticket. Use this when you scan or collect tickets per person.
Step 5: Choose a redemption method
Open the Redemption method dropdown and select how guests will present their ticket on the day of the experience.
No identification needed
Guests can join the experience without presenting a ticket. Best for small, name-list based check-ins.
I accept digital or printed tickets
Guests may show the ticket on their phone or as a printed copy. The most flexible option for most operators.
I accept only printed tickets
Guests must present a physical printed ticket to be admitted.
Step 6: Save your changes
Click Update at the bottom of the Ticketing section to save the new ticket type and redemption method.
Choosing the right option
Pick One ticket per guest in the booking if you scan tickets individually or need a per-person audit trail.
Pick One ticket per booking for group tours where the lead guest checks everyone in.
Match the Redemption method to your guides' workflow β if they cannot scan QR codes in the field, require printed tickets.
