Welcome to CaptainBook! This guide will help you navigate through the key features of the CaptainBook dashboard.

In this guide, we will cover the following topics:

  1. Navigating the calendar.

Navigating the Calendar

After successfully logging into the CaptainBook platform, you will land on the dashboard. Here are the main features you will encounter:

  • Calendar Centerpiece: The calendar is at the center of your dashboard. By default, the calendar view is selected.

  • Dropdown Menus: Below the header, there are two dropdown menus.

    • Left Dropdown Menu: Allows you to select or unselect the experiences you want to visualize on your calendar.

Using Filters and Navigation Buttons

The right dropdown menu offers filtering options to customize your calendar view:

  • Display Booking Only: Shows only the experiences with bookings.

  • Display All Availability: Displays all experience availability on the calendar.

Below these dropdown menus, you will find the navigation buttons:

  • Arrows: Use these to move to the previous or next month.

  • Today Button: Click to reset the calendar view to the current date.

Switching Between Calendar Views

On the right side of the dashboard, you can switch between different calendar views:

  • Month View (Default): Displays the entire month.

  • Week View: Shows the calendar by week.

  • Day View: Displays the calendar by day.

Resources

To manage the availability for experiences with attached resources, switch to the Resource view:

  • Resource View: This view allows you to operate availability for experiences where you have a resource attached. The resource names are displayed in the left column.


Navigation Menu

On the left side of the dashboard, you will find the navigation menu. Use this menu to navigate through the different sections of the CaptainBook platform by clicking on the menu icons.
