This guide walks you through the Customers (CRM) tab in CaptainBook, where you manage your customer database.
After reading, you can open the CRM, add a new customer, edit or delete existing contacts, and import or export your customer list.
Step 1: Open the Customers (CRM) tab
From the dashboard, scroll the left sidebar and click Customers (CRM). This opens the Customer Relationships Management page.
Step 2: Open Quick actions
On the CRM page, click the Quick actions button in the top right. The dropdown gives you access to Manage attributes, Add a new customer, Import, and Export.
Step 3: Add a new customer
From the Quick actions dropdown, click Add a new customer to open the Create a customer form.
Fill in the customer's Name (required), Email, Phone, Address, City, Region, and any other available fields.
Click Save to create the customer record.
Step 4: Edit a contact
From the CRM list, click a customer row to open their profile. Update any field in the customer form, then click Save to apply your changes.
Step 5: Delete a contact
Open the customer's profile from the CRM list, then use the delete action on the customer detail page to remove the record.
Step 6: Import contacts
On the CRM page, click Quick actions, then click Import.
Follow the 5-step wizard: Type, Format, Upload, Map, Details / Overview.
At the Type step, choose your source — XOLA export, GetYourGuide export, Bookeo export, BOKÚN export, or Roverd export — then click Continue and upload your spreadsheet at the Upload step.
Step 7: Export contacts
On the CRM page, click Quick actions, then click Export to download your customer list.
